"A lot of people kept saying it was mange, but it wasn't. It was caused by prepackaged raw called Tucker's. I had skin scrapings, biopsy, and blood test done and he was perfectly healthy with no mange. It only took a week and a half with your meal plan and he cleared right up. It was crazy thanks so much.
This dry skin was around his entire body and not only his face. And what's weird is that my dog is 5 years old and has never been kibble fed. Always been raw fed but was fed the wrong raw. I've learned that just because dog food companies make raw food for dogs doesn't mean its the real thing. It's crazy how much duck made a difference in inflammation too, his eyes were puffy before. "Thanks to Kelsey with @pet.nutrition, Miles is healthier than he's EVER been! Early on he suffered from Demodex Mange (serious skin infection), hives, ringworm and was diagnosed to be "allergic" to basically the whole environment and would get 'seasonal allergies' in which the vets tried to pump him with steroids and Benadryl. We tried several different raw food blends which definitely helped a bit. However, we could never find a balance with everything including his weight, a healthy coat and skin as well as maintaining healthy joints and ligaments. In just two weeks, miles' weight is ideal, his coat is shinier than its ever been, his body isn't overheated or flared up and he's running around like a puppy! We are super impressed with Kelsey's customized raw meal guide and we highly recommend her to anyone!
