The Quality v. Quantity of Dog Food

The Quality v. Quantity of Dog Food: the higher rated the food, the less you feed and the healthier it is.

This display is of a daily feeding amount for a 5 star kibble compared to the daily feeding amount of a 3, and 1-2 star kibble for a 50 pound dog. Even if your dog is less than 50 pounds, or more than 50 pounds, there is a visible difference between the quantity and quality of these brands. I often hear that people can't afford a 5 star kibble. This display shows that you would feed your dog twice, if not 3 times as more of the lesser rated kibbles. Therefore, by providing a healthier, more species appropriate, 5 star kibble, you would buy food less often and you would be improving your dogs overall health. Your dog will also poop less and have less smelly poop, that's a win in itself! I would not recommend feeding ANY food below a 4 star. If you would like to learn more about the benefits of a 5 star kibble or other types of healthy dog food, please comment below. (Note: this is only displaying kibbles, not canned, freeze-dried, or raw food).
